1. The Waste Management Phoenix Open (nicknamed "the Greatest Show on Grass") was held at the TPC Scottsdale.
2. Superbowl XLV was held in Dallas, TX.
And most importantly.....
3. Dan and Miranda Fricke came to visit from Omaha, NE!!!!!!
It had been 4 years since Miranda had been back to Scottsdale and almost 5 for Dan. What better weekend to be here than for the Open and Suberbowl?!?!
There were DEFINITELY specific things on the agenda for the weekend besides the major events. One on them being...............any guesses???
In N' Out!!!
Dan and Miranda arrived around 5pm Friday. I headed straight from work to the airport so we had to pick up Simon, THEN straight to In N' Out. I believe the comment from Dan was that he was planning to have In N' Out at least SIX times when they were in town. We made it TWICE in the first 12 hours..........
Saturday we headed to the TPC Scottsdale to watch some golf!
We had a lovely day ;-)
Next up, Superbowl 45!
There were not a whole lot of pictures taken (we were actually cooking a lot in the beginning: enchiladas, buffalo chicken dip...it was a football feast!!!). Miss T came to visit too! We had a good time watching the Packers win the Superbowl (mostly because Kati was rockin' the cheesehead).

Monday night, we made a pit stop for Dan to give Chelsea's Kitchen the third try for BEST Arnold Palmer EVER. Then we had some DELICIOUS Bruschetta at our old hang out, Postino Wine Cafe!!!!
